ESL Master has its first electonic publication!

Mentioned in the title is an e-book which happens to be a collection of exercises appearing on our website. It consists of 9 sets and a whopping of 15 pages, but I’m sure it will keep you busy for a while.

Vocabulary #7

Here comes another set of vocabulary exercises. This time it is divided into two parts. In the first you should guess the meaning of each word and then use it in the context in the second part.

Valentine’s Day was just too perfect for me to think about a bigger handout based on an article. You will have to wait for it. If you have come across any story you find particularly appealing, don’t hesitate to leave a comment and inform me about it. I may create a set of exercises based on it

They are baaack! – new set of exercises

According to Newsweek, the current crisis can produce a wave of boomerangers, i.e. children_that_just_weren’t_supposed_to _live_with_us_any_longer. Parents are going to struggle as their adult children are forcing themselves back into the folks’ houses. But is it always going to be a nuisance?

Never say die – new set of exercises

Today we are going to deal with an article which recently topped Newsweek’s most popular stories list.

The article presents how the quest for longer life evolved and is now mainly rooted in science.

For further reading visit this site.

When you are done with the article, jump here and download the exercises.

Again, the article is quite lengthy, but don’t feel discouraged, since it only means that you will learn more I advise you to number each paragraph from 1 to 17 to have easier time finding particular words which I mention in the exercises.

For the first time I decided to enrich the handouts by adding some links, clarifying certain ideas from the text. Together with it I added a glossary. Tell me whether you find it useful.
